I run water through the gutters, check every joint, and leave the site clean.
Common questions
- When is replacement better than repair or cleaning?
- If the timber behind your fascia is rotten, the guttering is cracked or sagging beyond bracket repair, or leaks keep coming back, replacement is usually the most cost-effective long-term fix. Cleaning and small repairs are great for sound rooflines, but they can't rescue perished wood or brittle old plastic.
- What material do you use?
- I fit high-quality white uPVC gutters, fascias and soffits as standard. uPVC doesn't rot, never needs painting, and is the practical choice for most Lincolnshire homes. I can quote for other colours or profiles on request.
- Do you replace just one part, or does it have to be the full roofline?
- I can do either. Sometimes only the gutter needs swapping, or just a rotten fascia board. I'll inspect first and give you an honest recommendation — I won't talk you into a full replacement if a targeted fix will do.
- How long does a full replacement take?
- A typical semi-detached house takes one to two days, depending on the amount of old timber to remove and whether any rafter feet need attention. I'll give you a clear timescale in the written quote.
- Is the work guaranteed?
- Yes. I guarantee the installation workmanship, and the uPVC products themselves come with a manufacturer's guarantee. I'll give you the paperwork once the job is complete.
